has glosseng: California Oregon Broadcasting Incorporated (or COBi for short) is a family-owned broadcast franchise based in Medford, Oregon. It was founded in 1953 by William B. Smullin and is the owner of KOBI-TV Channel 5M (now known as NBC 5) in Medford and KOTI-TV Channel 2K (NBC 2) in Klamath Falls, Oregon (now a repeater station for KOBI). Smullin is also credited for starting KRCR-TV Channel 7R (now News Channel 7) in Redding, California in 1956, a station which is now owned by Bonten Media Group, LLC (part of BlueStone License Holdings, Inc.). This station is best known for its logo of an interstate highway sign that is still used today. It was also used by KRCR until 1995.
