has gloss	eng: History Founding Tau Alpha Omega Was Founded September 21, 1970 at Central Mindanao University and expanded their chapters at Universities And Colleges in Luzon Visayas and Mindanao. Before it became Tau Alpha Omega, its name was Free Student Society, when it was founded in the 1960s or Society of Students who Assert Freedom or "Scholasticus Adserto Sodalicium". Then it became Tau Alpha Omega Fraternity and Sorority wherein its members are known as FREEMAN. Because its constitution and bylaws are similar to that of fraternity and sorority, it was amended in the 1970 constitution and by laws of the FFS to use the three Greek letters "TAΩ".
